Central Care Cancer Center staff can help find resources and assist in making nutritional food choices. Nutritionists, also called dietitians, work with patients to help maintain proper nutrition during treatments. There are many diets available to help with these symptoms, as well as, a variety of dietary supplements that can be added or substituted for meals. During treatment, loss of interest in food, or changes in taste, saliva production, diarrhea, or nausea may occur.
