Dr. Vera Nigrin
, radiation oncologist, completed her radiation oncology residency at the University
of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, and is board certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Nigrin completed one radiation
oncology fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She performed
a specialized fellowship in Prostate Brachytherapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation
Therapy, Gamma-Knife, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University
Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Nigrin is a member of the American
Society of Therapeutic Radiology & Oncology and the American Association
of Radiation Oncology. An avid traveler, Dr. Nigrin is fluent in six languages:
English, Spanish, French, Italian, Czech, and Slovak.
