Dr. Claudia Perez-Tamayo's background includes academics as well as clinical radiation oncology. She was recruited in 1985 to the University of Michigan Medical Center, Department of Radiation Oncology, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Special experiences include: the Fermi Neutron Facility in Batavia, Illinois and the Daniel den Hoed Kliniek, Rotterdam, Netherlands, which specializes in HDR brachytherapy, IMRT, and conformal therapy. She is published in numerous scientific books and journals. She is board certified in radiation oncology since 1984 and has practiced in Kansas for over 20 years. Dr. Perez-Tamayo is on the American College of Radiology Commission of Small and Rural Practices and was appointed to the President's Cancer Panel. She is also active in teaching both professional and community settings. |
